Shirley (not real name) was a 30-year-old medical doctor. She was diagnosed with inflammatory right breast cancer in February 2001. She underwent a mastectomy followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. She lost her hair and appetite and vomited for four to five days after the chemo-treatment.
